Have you ever watched the county lifeguards at their ocean swim competitions over the years and dreamed of having the chance to swim the same race course? Now is your chance!!
Named after Avalon Beach Patrol Captain Murray Wolf, this event offers a unique and challenging course set in the clean waters off of Avalon’s beautiful beaches, with a back course that’s unmatched in the Mid-Atlantic Region.
Be sure to sign up early as this event will sell out!
ABOUT THIS RACE:
Race will start and end in the same place, at approximately 35th Street and the beach.
ONLINE REGISTRATION ONLY. No in-person signups.
The event this year is limited to 100 swimmers. You can count on many current and former guards from Avalon Beach Patrol and the county to be in the mix for this swim!
Cost: $40 (early-bird pricing) for Murray Half; $55 (early-bird pricing) for Murray Classic; registration opens March 1. Price increases after June 30.
