“Start Your Own Documentary Film” at the Avalon Library
- Free (registration is required)
About
If you have an idea for a documentary film but don’t know where to start, this will be a good class for you. Anyone with a cell phone and a computer can make a fine documentary!
Participants will watch and discuss some short documentaries, work on researching and writing a script, using oral histories, finding photographs, and selecting music to help tell your stories. By the end of the sessions, each participant should have a workable script and have a good idea on how to proceed.
Presented by Jim Talone. 4 sessions, two hours each. No experience necessary. Ages 16+.
Registration required. Avalon property owners may register beginning May 6. All others may register beginning May 20.
To register, please call the library at 609-967-7155 or stop by the circulation desk.
