“Recovery Worship Wednesdays” at St. Mary’s

St. Mary’s of Stone Harbor invites those struggling with addiction and their loved ones to attend a unique service, held once a month this summer, offering both worship and Eucharist.

The Episcopal Church passed certain resolutions to aspire to be a place in which conversations about alcohol, substance misuse, and addiction are not simply about treatment but also about renewal and healing.

At St. Mary’s, one of our core beliefs is that all people are valuable without exception. We strive to intentionally welcome all those who may have been wounded by their church experience or excluded from Christian community.

This service integrates the 12 Steps of Recovery with Episcopal traditions and ancient Christian liturgy.
