Just Passing Through: Migration at the Avalon Coastline

Free

About

Every year, the Avalon coast sees an impressive migration spectacle, with thousands of animals stopping through. From the small Monarch Butterfly to the Ospreys in the marsh, we’ll discuss the journeys of these animals as the seasons change. Presented by Erin Rawls of The Wetlands Institute.

Includes a live Monarch tagging demonstration, as available!

Event is held in partnership with the Avalon Environmental Commission.
