First Night in Ocean City

Enjoy a variety of activities and entertainment to ring in the New Year at the area’s largest family-friendly event!

The fun begins at 4 pm in Ocean City, NJ with over 70 events, shows, and activities at over 20 venues throughout town! You’ll find alcohol-free entertainment here for every taste and age group! To view the full entertainment schedule, click here.

Headline entertainment at the Ocean City Music Pier this year will include GYPSY, a tribute to the music of Stevie Nicks and Fleetwood Mac, and Motor City, a revue of Motown’s greatest hits.

Perennial favorites like the outdoor ice-skating (with extended hours!), rides at Wonderland Pier, magic shows, the Harlem Wizards, and a variety of musical performances are included in this year’s entertainment lineup.

The Ocean City Pops will perform with a returning favorite: the Chicago tribute band, Brass Transit.

And in their first-ever First Night appearance, the Atlantic City Ballet will perform a holiday show.

• At the Roy Gillian Welcome Center (9th Street causeway): Monday to Friday 9 am to 4:30 pm,  9 am to 2 pm Saturday and Sunday
• At the 46th Street Welcome Center (4500 block of West Avenue): 9 am to 4 pm daily, except on Tuesdays (closed)

 
Tickets are also on sale for the Ocean City Pops’ Holiday Show at 6 pm on Saturday, November 25 at the Ocean City Music Pier. Led by Maestro Vince Lee, the Pops will perform classic holiday favorites and modern hits featuring soloist Sara Maimone of Ocean City.
