Avalon Lions Pickleball Classic
Team up for the 7 Mile Island Pickleball Classic – a 2-day charity tournament event benefiting the Avalon Lions Club Charities, that support local Cape May County charities like the Diller Home for the Blind in Avalon.
There’s also a one-day clinic offered the day before the tournament starts.

Helen L. Diller Vacation Home for Blind Children’s Annual Barefoot Ball
The Barefoot Ball is the Home’s largest fundraising event and helps offset the costs of an all-expenses paid seashore vacation for visually-impaired children.
The event will be held this year at the ICONA Windrift in Avalon.

American Legion Post 331 Spaghetti Dinner
The Post is having its annual Spaghetti Dinner at the Yacht Club of Stone Harbor this year. Tables of 10 or 8 may be reserved in advance, and takeout is also available.
Proceeds to benefit CVAC, an organization helping veterans in Cape May County.

Stone Harbor’s “Savor en Blanc”
Stone Harbor’s Savor September Weekend kicks off with its fashionable “Savor en Blanc” Dinner. Where attendees dress all in white as they dine and party under the stars on 96th Street!
Tickets are now on sale at the Welcome Center.

Avalon Lions Fall Dance Party
The Avalon Lions Club is hosting its annual Fall Dance Party! Enjoy the pre-show tribute to Jerry Blavat, who used to host this event, when doors open at 6 pm.
Dance to oldies and favorite tunes during “The Fabulous Greaseband” concert that follows. BYO food and beverages.
Classic & Vintage Car Show in Stone Harbor
As the kids go back to school, stroll down memory lane and relive those fond memories of favorite family road trips and your first car. Vintage and classic cars will be on display this fall in Stone Harbor!
Awards ceremony will also take place, followed by a parade down 96th Street.
