The Stone Harbor Chamber of Commerce invites you to “come out of your shells” and join the fun in our annual Turtle Trot 5K and 2-Mile Fun Walk!

5K Run starts at 8 am. The 2-mile Fun Walk will begin at 8:05 am.

Please arrive early to allow for adequate time to stow any pre-race items/ gear in your vehicle or with a family member (e.g., race day t-shirts, extra clothing, etc.).

The Turtle Trot has become a Memorial Day Weekend tradition for many runners, families and beach-loving outdoor enthusiasts!

As the name of this race is inspired by Stone Harbor’s beautiful Diamondback Terrapins crossing the town’s roads in search of an area to nest, we will, once again, be donating a portion of our proceeds to the Diamondback Terrapin Program at The Wetlands Institute.

We encourage everyone to get involved by joining our run or walk, volunteering at this event, or cheering on participants as a spectator!

Contrary to its name, the Turtle Trot 5K is a fast-course run through Stone Harbor’s scenic, residential neighborhoods. Prizes will be awarded in the 5K race.

The Fun Walk is a non-timed, non-competitive event that’s suitable for the entire family.

All registered runners and walkers will receive a coveted Turtle Trot t-shirt (while supplies last!), so be sure to register early!
