“Speaker Series” at Stone Harbor Museum

On select nights throughout from June through September, Stone Harbor Museum invites you to join in on special discussions, stories, activities, and visual tours in their unique “Speaker Series” events.

June 9:  Harlan Radford will take you back in time with his amazing collection of Stone Harbor postcards

June 19:  “Jaime’s World” – Jaime Hand and Jim Talone will take you on a virtual tour of our beautiful waterways

July 10:  Get excited about the 250th Anniversary of the USA with Revolutionary reenactors Bob and Robin Stiles

July 15:  Stone Harbor songwriter Holdyn Barder will be on hand to lead us in “Name That Tune”

July 24:  “Millie’s War” – Jim Talone will be taking us back to World War II, with first-hand photos and memories of a WWII female soldier

August 28:  Marine Corp Veteran Kyle Nelson will be giving us some great information about WWII U-Boats

September 18: Former Smithsonian educator Sue Davis explores “object-based learning” using the Museum’s collections – and you get to help!
