Sea Isle City
Sea Isle City is having their annual Mayor’s Holiday Parade and Tree Lighting Ceremony in town on Friday, November 29. Parade route winds around Sea Isle City from 49th Street and Central Avenue down to 59th Street where it turns onto Landis Avenue. A special Tree Lighting Ceremony with Santa will follow in Excursion Park.
The Wildwoods
Wildwood Crest is having their bayside Christmas Tree Lighting at Sunset Lake on Tuesday, December 3 at 5:30 pm.
Later that same week, the Greater Wildwood Jaycees will also be hosting their annual Christmas Parade. The parade begins at 6:30 pm from North Wildwood and heads into and around downtown Wildwood, ending at Byrne Plaza, where the Wildwood Business Improvement District’s Tree Lighting Ceremony will take place around 8 pm immediately following the Parade.
North Wildwood’s Tree Lighting Ceremony will take place on December 7 at 5 pm at the Hereford Inlet Lighthouse courtyard, where there will be music, refreshments, self-guided tours of the historic local landmark,… and Santa! (of course!)
Bring the kids for a Family Holiday Celebration happening on December 14 starting from 9 am at the Wildwoods Convention Center. In addition to a full day of holiday-themed movies, kids’ craft activities, face painting, live performances and entertainment, there will be a special Tree Lighting Ceremony at 4:30 pm.
Cape May
Searching for some Christmas spirit while visiting the shore in November? Watch as Santa and his helpers light the grand tree on the property of the Emlen Physick Estate on November 23 at 7 pm, followed by a reading of ‘Twas the Night Before Christmas on the outdoor stage.
West Cape May is hosting their annual Tree Lighting Ceremony on Friday December 6 at 6 pm, the night before the area’s community-wide Christmas Parade. Cape May City’s Tree Lighting Ceremony follows on the same day at 7 pm at the Rotary Park Bandstand – complete with holiday cheer, sing-along songs, and a special visit from Santa!
The West Cape May Christmas Parade will be held on December 7. Parade starts at 5 pm from the West Cape May Firehouse and winds around downtown Cape May, ending its final route through Carpenter Lane.
Offshore
On November 30 of Thanksgiving Weekend, you can also check out Santa’s Tree Lighting Celebration at the Cape May County Zoo. In addition to live music performances, bounce houses, character appearances, and a visit from Santa, a Tree Lighting Ceremony will take place at 5 pm.
